Please reach us at info@multilinguallittles.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Multilingual Littles is a resource and support space for parents and caregivers who want to help their children grow up with more than one language. We provide practical resources, courses, consultations, and guidance to make multilingual parenting feel more approachable, doable, and enjoyable.
Not at all! You don't have to speak every language your child is learning to play an important role in their language journey. There are many meaningful ways to create opportunities for your child to hear, understand, and use another language, even when you're learning alongside them!
You can still support your child's multilingual development. Our resources focus on practical strategies that parents can use in everyday life, including ways to incorporate books, music, routines, play, and other language rich experiences. You don't need to be fluent or perfect to encourage your child's connection with a language. We believe progress and connection matter more than perfection.
Yes. Mixing languages is a common part of multilingual language development. Children may use words from different languages in the same conversation, depending on what comes naturally to them and what language they have access to in that moment.
This is a common question for multilingual families. Understanding and speaking are different skills, and children may understand much more than they are ready or willing to say. Our resources offer ideas for creating natural, low-pressure opportunities for children to use their languages.
There isn't one “perfect” age. Families can begin creating meaningful exposure to another language at many different stages of childhood. The most important thing is finding realistic, enjoyable ways to incorporate the language into your family's everyday life.
You're not alone! Language can be connected to identity, relationships, environment, and a child's sense of comfort. Rather than putting pressure on a child to perform, we encourage families to create positive, meaningful opportunities to hear and use the language.
We offer free and paid PDFs, guides, templates, activities, courses, and other resources designed to give parents practical ideas they can use at home.
Our consultations are an opportunity to talk through your family's multilingual goals, questions, and challenges and receive practical educational guidance and ideas you can use at home. Consultations are not medical, psychological, speech-language, diagnostic, or therapeutic services. We do not provide assessments or diagnose speech, language, developmental, or other conditions. If you have concerns about your child's development or communication, we encourage you to speak with an appropriately qualified professional.
Digital products are non-refundable once downloaded or accessed. Courses have a 7-day refund window as long as the course has not been substantially accessed. Consultations require 48 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling. Memberships can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing through the end of the paid period.
